End of Life Care (Hospice)
Hospice care is designed to provide support to you and your loved ones during the final phase of life. Hospice focuses on caring, not curing and in most cases, end of life care is provided in the patient's home. Hospice services are available to patients of any age, religion, race or illness. Hospice care is covered under Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance plans. While SunBeam Caregiving is not a hospice agency, my years of experience as a hospice aide for two of the local agencies has allowed me to be witness to some of the most profound poignant moments in my life. Regardless of the agency you choose for hospice care, I am available to provide additional end of life care and family support where preset guidelines, regulations and scheduling may not be enough.
