To those who are considering a caregiver, and their family and friends:

My name is Shelly Reinhold, I am a caregiver and certified nursing assistant. For the last 15 years I have provided home care to developmentally disabled adults as well as end of life care for hospice patients and their families, both privately and for two of the local hospice agencies. 

​

Everyone navigates an uncharted path, if your journey has brought you here, I assume that circumstances have presented themselves and new realities are being revealed. I am at your service. My experience as a caregiver spans the breadth and depth from a simple routine once a month visit to help run errands, to the daily charge of caring for those facing a terminal illness, and helping their family cope with and understand what is happening.

Routine personal care usually doesn't require a second thought. But for someone who has suffered an accident, a disability, an illness, or is advancing in age, routine may become formidable. Due to the nature of personal care it may be difficult, uncomfortable or impossible for family and friends to provide the care necessary. Again, I am at your service.

 

As a private caregiver I provide care to you or your loved ones at your request. Arrangements are made prior to any services provided, and your privacy is insured. My fee is modest within the field that I practice, and I bill privately.

 

Taking care of those who are recovering from illness, accidents, are advancing in age, or at the end of life has been my calling for several years. I love it and cherish the relationships I've developed with families while tending to their loved ones. It's what my life is all about.
